You will learn how to perform culturing techniques, phagocytosis assays, fluorescent microscopy, and more! The goal: gain experience in navigating an experimental question and work in pairs to tackle your own experiment.

SAT Spring Administration 2026
Hill Regional Career High School is administering the Digital SAT on April 1st, 2026. The district will automatically register all 11th grade students. If students would like to take the SAT for a second or third time, they would need to register on Collegeboard.
Dry Run Day (Digital Readiness Check): March 25, 2026 @ 8am - 8:34am.
School Day SAT: Digital SAT in school on April 1st, 2026, 9am - 1pm.
SAT Makeup date is set for April 6th, 2026.
Important Note!
On SAT-Day, you must use a school issued chromebook. Ensure that you bring it to school that day fully charged, with the charger. If you do not have a school issued chromebook, you will be provided a loaner chromebook the day of the test. If you have questions, please reach out to Ms.Plair @ fihayya.plair@new-haven.k12.ct.us.
Phone/Personal Device Policy:
All students will be required to power down their cellular devices and hand them in during check in. Each test room will receive plastic baggies and a bin for cell phone collection.
All other electronic devices such as headphones, earbuds, apple watches, Ipads, or personal laptops must be turned off and stored in your backpacks during check in. None of these devices should be seen or heard for the entirety of testing, this includes in the halls, during breaks, or going to the bathrooms.
Do not make a teacher have to repeat themselves or fight with you about this policy. If I am called to a room about an electronic device issue, you will be removed from testing and brought to the late room, where you will stay for the remainder of testing. Your scores will be canceled and you will be required to sit for the Retake.
