Career High School Morning Announcements 04/20/26
If you are still looking for community service hours or want to be part of Drama Club, but can't sing or dance, come be part of the stage crew! We need 10-12 students and it's first come, first-served. You can earn up to 20 hours of community service. The hours can not be applied to New Haven Promise, but can be used toward graduation. If you are interested, please see Ms. Robinson in Room 322 or Ms. DiMarco in the Music Room.
Attention students! Get creative and learn to make beautiful floral arrangements! Join us for a workshop after school on Tuesday, April 28th, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM in the library. You will be able to create and take home a flower arrangement of your very own! Space is limited, so stop by the library to see Mrs. Gilman and sign up by Thursday, April 23rd to secure your spot! This is a free event!
Attention all students, the Freshmen class is selling Cinnabon via pre-order through April 20th. Please see Ms. Salmeron or Ms. Ukah if you would like to pre-order. Thank you for supporting the Freshman class!

Don’t forget that you must turn in your bookmark entry for the April library contest by 2:15pm tomorrow. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, April 22nd.
The Peter Evans Alumni Association Scholarship is now open to apply. The scholarship is a $1,000 one-time grant to a graduating senior from Career High School who MUST BE A RESIDENT OF NEW HAVEN. The scholarship is named in honor of Peter Evans, a New Haven native and storied basketball coach and teacher at Richard C. Lee High School and Hill Regional Career High School. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2026. Please check your Google Classroom to apply.
